This Privacy Policy explains how "Sensitive Swap" (the "Extension") handles your data. The core philosophy of this tool is Zero-Trust Security. We believe the best way to protect your data is to never access it.

1. Data Collection & Usage

The Extension operates 100% locally on your machine.

• It does not transmit any code, prompts, API keys, or text to external servers.
• It does not track individual user activity, collect analytics, or monetize your data.
• The redaction logic runs entirely within your browser's local sandbox before your prompt is ever pasted anywhere.

2. Permissions Required

To function properly, the Extension requests the following browser permissions:

• clipboardRead: Required strictly to intercept code pasted into the chat window to scan it for sensitive credentials. The clipboard data remains in your local memory and is immediately discarded after the initial scan.
• storage: Used exclusively to save your extension preferences (e.g., whether the active protection is toggled ON or OFF, custom regex settings) locally on your device.
• Host Permissions: The Extension activates its scanning logic when you are using websites you interact with. It monitors the native paste DOM event on the webpage to instantly substitute sensitive artifacts.
